Abandoned and Orphan Oil/Gas Wells

Maps show location of abandoned and orphan oil/gas wells within the state based on data provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Wells are plotted as points, or by density per county or watershed. Abandoned or orphan wells are often decades old and are minimally inspected, if at all, for leakage or maintenance.
